Mark Furigay is an English teacher in Chicago, who finds most kids are uninterested in Shakespear—shocking, I know. After one of his Chicago students suggested he teach in a way they could relate to, Mark brought a rapper gang in to threaten the students who wouldn't learn. The rappers were even inspired to add some classical theatric flavor to thy rap videos. Hello Grammy.
Of course, the school wanted a more PG idea. Mark was watching the Disney channel's hit tv show, Hannah Montana, late one night and saw Hannah Montana write a song to help her remember school lessons. After checking the patents, Mark was in the clear. Doth business was born and henceforth called Classroom Jams.
Look, I know you were hoping Classroom Jams involved crackers and jellies, but alas, Mark recorded an album of Shakespeare-themed songs with the plan to sell the album to schools across the country.
Mark and the Sharks go yammering on about song rights for a while. In act 3, Mark wants all the sharks in but is hesitant to give up all his equity.
To deal or not to deal. That is the question.
Mark accepts the deal with all the sharks.

Toil, toil, toil, and trouble. It seems Classroom Jams was not the hit album Mark Furigay expected.
In season 2, episode 1, Kevin O'Leary helped Mark secure a test run of his albums sent to schools through an education company called Houghton Mifflin, which later went out of business.
If you've been left wanting to scratch that musical Shakespear itch after being teased with Mark's 30-second Shark Tank live performance. The album can be purchased on mfurigay.wixsite.com https://mfurigay.wixsite.com/shakespeare-sessionsLink Preview
Mark has continued to teach English and is currently at Dyett High School for the Arts in Chicago, Illinois, so if you drive by, maybe roll down your window, and you might be lucky enough to hear the rhythmic sounds of Mark singing Shakespear to his students.
If you're not so lucky...well maybe keep your window rolled up.
