Coverplay Shark Tank Pitch

A "Play yard" translates to a 2' by 4' baby jail while you do other stuff. When babies go into the play yard, it gets messy. Amy Feldman and Allison Costa created a slip-cover called Coverplay, which can quickly be taken off and cleaned, and more importantly, they have a patent on the concept.

Amy and Allison target consumers through retail chains such as Target and Carnival Cruise Lines and by selling to businesses like hotels.

Amy and Allison have each put $50k in 1 year ago and did $200k in revenue this year. After miscommunication about the patent not being included in the deal, the sharks had to clarify that their deals included the patent.

Coverplay After Shark Tank

In season 1, episode 8, we got an update that Coverplay would soon be in Babies R Us. They were getting more orders than they could ever imagine and were thrilled about their deal with Barbara.

Coverplay is doing $ 1 million a year in revenue in 2022. Allison Costa left Coverplay in 2013 to do interior design at All Global Interiors. Amy Feldman is still the CEO of Coverplay.
