Overplay Shark Tank Pitch

Dan Projansky and Caroline Strzalka appeared on Shark Tank Season 15, Episode 18, which aired on March 15, 2024, with App for video game creation.

Overplay is listed in the Technology category. In plain terms, the business is described as App for video game creation.

Overplay asked the Sharks for $500,000 for 2.5% equity, implying a valuation of about $20 million.

On the show, Overplay made a listed deal for $500,000 for 4% equity, plus $500,000 paid to Mark for content creation and promotion.

If treated as straight equity, the listed deal works out to about $12.5 million implied valuation, down from the original $20 million implied valuation.

This pitch is included as context for the more important question: what happened after Shark Tank.
