The Hype Company Shark Tank Pitch

Cheng Kue and Marc Herzberger appeared on Shark Tank Season 15, Episode 21, which aired on April 19, 2024, with Custom slides.

The Hype Company is listed in the Consumer Products category. In plain terms, the business is described as Custom slides.

The Hype Company asked the Sharks for $125,000 for 5% equity, implying a valuation of about $2.5 million.

On the show, The Hype Company made a listed deal for $100,000 as cash, $250,000 as a line of credit, for 25% equity.

If treated as straight equity, the listed deal works out to about $400,000 implied valuation, down from the original $2.5 million implied valuation.

This pitch is included as context for the more important question: what happened after Shark Tank.
