Uncle Zips Beef Jerky After Shark Tank
Ken persisted with Uncle Zips Beef Jerky until his death of cancer in 2014. From there Ken's childhood friend, Jeff Harris, took over the business.
Jeff knew Ken since third grade and was the one who encouraged Ken to apply for Shark Tank. Of course, when Ken got the call from producers, he thought it was jeff pulling his leg.
Jeff may not be able to compete with Ken's stage presence, but he runs the website, does the advertising, and continues creating the jerky with his daughter's help. I was worried my order wouldn't come, but after three weeks, it came, and it was well worth waiting for. I am no jerky-savant, but in the course of writing this, I ate the whole pack of Habanero Pepper, which is not "melt your face off" hot. For me, it's the perfect jerky. Uncle Zips Beef Jerky is incredible! This concludes my first review of a Shark Tank product.
