Michael Szymczak and Jason Lucash found an interesting scientific quirk they turned into a product. Rock-It outputs audio in the form of vibrations, which, when affixed to a cup-shaped object, converts the vibrations into a speaker with junky audio quality, but it's cool. Rock-It lives under their brand Origaudio.
Maybe you wanna have a lil' rocket in the morning. Maybe you want a rocket when you're with your friends.
Michael and Jason have put $40k into the business, including a $10k investment from Jason's mom. Origaudio has been in business for one year and has done $750k in revenue and $150k profit from their two products without taking a salary.
They want to spend the money on legal fees, hiring more employees, and moving production out of Mike's garage.
Mark Cuban put a shot clock on dealing with him or everybody else, and they tried to choose both, which got them three offers to choose from before the clock expired. Mark pissed Robert off playing that game and fired back at Mark several times that he was being a bully.
Tensions were high, and Robert made a deal perhaps more to "beat" Mark than because Robert saw the deal as a profitable opportunity.
