The Pitch
Dominique McClain Barteet, a pharmacist in Palm Beach, Florida (Hello wealthy people), found herself packing more shoes than could reasonably fit in her suitcase. That's when she created Onesole, a way to use one body of the shoe with the ability to strap on new tops.
Dominique has done over $20 million in revenue in the last four years. She's in over 2000 stores across 30 countries and has been on several shopping channels. Last year's revenue was $3.5 million with over $1 million in profit.
Dominique holds several patents and trademarks throughout several countries. After going international this year, she is overwhelmed and needs the help of a strategic partner.
Part of you has to wonder if she's dipping into that pharmacy cabinet to maintain her poise in life and the Shark Tank. Disclaimer: I'm joking.
Onesole is the real deal and gets interest from several sharks but Daymond, perhaps, provides the best resources for Onesole and gave the best deal so it was an easy choice for Dominique.
