| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec for $100k for 40% of Company. |
Mark Lim and Hanna Lim created a sippy cup called Lollacup to support their kid's speech and dental health. Lollacup has a weighted straw, is easy to clean, is manufactured in the USA to prioritize safe plastics, and has a design patent.
Mark Lim and Hanna Lim have put $100k into Lollacup and in its first four months did $30k in sales with future sales lined up. Lollacup is sold through baby stores and is higher priced than alternatives but is a superior sippy cup.
This is the new sippy cup.
The sharks are disappointed to hear that Mark and Hanna signed an exclusive deal for one entity to sell Lollacup in the US for a year because if it makes a poor effort to sell then Lollacup is handicapped.
I want to play with winners.
Every shark but Lori makes a bid, and with some high-intensity deal making Mark and Hanna request the often at odds with each other, Mark and Robert, to join, and they become one big happy Lollacup family.

The two went to college in Boston. Hanna became a chemistry teacher while Mark furthered his business schooling and built a t-shirt brand. Once Lollacup got on Shark Tank, Lollacup eventually became their entire focus outside of raising their kids.
Mark and Hanna filmed their show in July 2011 and didn't air until over a year later in April 2012, which may have been a strategy involving waiting for the existing exclusivity contract to expire. During that time Lollacup did around $10k of sales per month.
Lollacup achieved $100k of sales in 24 hours after airing. Mark had 5000 emails in his inbox. They enlisted friends and family and hired their first employee to help ship Lollacups out of their garage.
In season 4, episode 7, we got an update that Lollacup grew from $40k sales and 50 stores to $300k sales and 300 stores. While producing at their house capped out at 800 cups a day, they now have a manufacturer that can do 3k to 5k cups daily.
Mark and Hanna speak with Mark Cuban weekly and find him very helpful. They are also involved in the Facebook group of other Shark Tank companies, which they use to bounce ideas off.
Mark and Hanna have continued to manufacture in the USA and Germany to suit their international growth. They have also expanded their product line to plates and bowls and go under the parent brand Lollaland.
