Barbara Lampugnale was a flight attendant and commercial interior design company when she came up with the all-in-one nail painting kit. Her daughters were confident it was Barbara's million-dollar idea.
Barbara planned out her first five years of business in a 75-page binder and approached a bank for a $1.7 million loan, which she was greeted with a smile and shown the door.
Barbara applied for season one and heard nothing, applied for season two and got some interest, and for season three got all the way on the show.
When Barabara got the call to be on Shark Tank she had to back up her fib of having inventory, so she got a loan from her parents to create 10k Nail Pak units.
Lori had Nail Pak on QVC the day after the episode aired. In season 4, episode 8, we got an update that Nail Pak did $750k in sales and got into 500 Ulta Beauty stores across the country.
In 2015, Barbara rebranded Duality Cosmetics to Grace Nail Company feeling as though the new name would "resonate" with people more.
In 2022 Nail Pak's website is gracenailcompany.com https://www.gracenailcompany.com https://x.com/DualityNailPakLink Preview
