| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Robert Herjavec, Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner for $300k for 30% of Company, but it fell through after the show. |
Maddie Bradshaw sought to decorate her middle school locker, and by using what she could find around the house, she ended up with bottlecaps showing art on the underside of the cap, which could also be attached to a string and worn as a necklace.
Maggie teamed up with her mother, Diane, and her younger sister, Margot, to form M3 Girl Designs in 2006. All the items are hand-made in their office in Dallas, Texas.
After five years of selling, they are in over a thousand stores and amassed over $5 million in revenue. Last year's revenue was $1.6 million with $1 million in profit.
Maddie also wrote a book, You Can Start A Business, Too if that means anything to anyone. I should mention I wrote a book in elementary school called "A Sloths Life" in case that builds my authority to you.
With more money and connections, Maddie wants to launch a new line targeting her current 15-year-old market called Snobby Teen—I mean Spark of Life. Spark of Life is a line of adjustable necklaces and stackable bracelets. She also wants to expand distribution globally.
I envisioned Kevin would rip this junky fad to shreds as a one-hit lucky win. Instead, he breaks the ice with a very generous offer, only for it to be received by a stone-faced Maddie, picturing Kevin's face on her dartboard.
Maddie gets her pick of four sharks which she unenthusiastically goes with Mark, Lori, and Robert settling for a valuation she disagreed with. She rolled her eyes until her mom told her to take it.
Talk about blind confidence. It's like they say the worst thing to happen is to win the first time you go to a casino because then it feels easy, and you're hooked. I have a feeling Maddie is going to have a rude awaking when this gravy train dries up.

Well, well, well...that gravy train did end for Maddie. According to Shark Tank Blog https://www.sharktankblog.com/trademark-lawsuitsLink Preview
However, in at least three known court cases, some fought back and received a favorable outcome over M3 Girl Designs. One example was Blue Brownies which went through litigation from 2010 to 2012.
The Shark Tank did its due diligence after the show, and the deal fell through. The article's writer, more familiar with the situation, likened the Bradshaw family to school-yard bullies who take lunch money from weaker kids.
