| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Daymond John for $40k for 60% of Company. |
Kevin Kiernan and Melissa Kiernan have an issue with losing garbage can lids. Now, where I live, there has been this invention since I can remember called the lid is attached to the can. Anyway, that isn't the case in New Jersey.
Kevin invented The Last Lid, a water-resistant cloth lid replacement for his missing garbage can lid. After setting up a camera in his eight-year-old daughter's window (facing out), Kevin has determined The Last Lid is raccoon-proof yet garbage man friendly.
The sharks avoid bickering about raccoons and move on to a better subject: sales. Oh wait, it's worse. They have none.
I can tell instantly if it's a hero or a zero and I'm sorry I think this is a zero.
Daymond tried to spice the pitch up a bit and found himself having to take a deal or show is hand that he was toying with Kevin and Melissa.

Melissa found all the sharks friendly and thought her segment accurately portrayed reality. Although their website got a decent amount of traffic, it did not generate many sales. Melissa and Kevin believe The Last Lid is better suited for retail sales, which they haven't been able to get.
The Last Lid trudged along in getting into retail stores or creating sales. Eventually, an infomercial with an appearance from Daymond was released. If you want to see The Last Lid infomercial there is a reposting of it on YouTube here https://youtu.be/em1XRIPlQ_cLink Preview
After never finding real success, Kevin's LinkedIn (that I cannot find) supposedly wrote that in 2015 "The Last Lid was finally sold to a large retailer in the garbage can manufacturing vertical." Interpret that as you wish.
In 2017 Kevin created a Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thestadiumglove/the-stadium-glove-the-fans-glove-at-ballparks-andLink Preview
Kevin and Melissa split up around 2018 and, in 2022, got divorced. According to Melissa's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/melissakiernanLink Preview
