Five-Minute Furniture Shark Tank Pitch

Jared has made over 80 products, of which one has shown signs of success. Jared brought one of these products to the tank called Five-Minute Furniture, a patented furniture design geared toward easy assembly.

The sharks inquire about all the inventions, and Jared assures the sharks that they will have the opportunity to give him more money later for those, but today Jared is only offering Five-Minute Furniture

Jared has spent $1k of his own money and $250k of investor funds to get to the current point. Jared has no sales after seven years.

As far as we know, the sharks never even looked at the furniture up close, yet Lori and Kevin offer Jared an offer for $250k for the entire company and for Jared to kick rocks. The kicker of it is these investors think their money is dead and gone and if they knew they could get their money back they would be thrilled.

The problem is Jared is making the calls and Jared makes the same amount if the company sells for $250k and pays back the investors as if the company goes bankrupt and the investors lose their money.

Jared is a slick "inventor" only in it for himself. He turns down the offer.

According to Shark Tank Blog

Jared attempted to get on the show Invention USA on the History Channel but did not make the final cut. He also submitted 40 of his inventions to Walmart's Get On The Shelf contest, which he did not win.

Jared entered his products in a competition from Edison Nation, which, coincidently, Daymond John was involved with, and won a prize two times out of the six contests.

James used his Shark Tank website traffic to push his other products such as the Plug Hub. In 2022, Jared has not Tweeted from his Twitter, @jared_joyce
