Heat Helper Shark Tank Pitch
Lyle Schuette found it a waste for drying machines to heat air and blow it out of your house during the winter. Lyle created Heat Helper to attach below your drying machine and filter the exhaust to release back into the home to reduce the electric bill in the winter.
Lyle has sold 680 units through his website. He is also sold 20 through his local Lowes and Walmart. With Lyle's dirt business on the rise, he put Heat Helper on hold in 2003 and now hopes to reintroduce it to the market again.
Lyle is an animated and likable guy, but Heat Helper is unstable for the sharks.

According to the Derby Informer http://www.derbyinformer.com/news/shark-tank-doesn-t-bite-public-does-derby-s-lyle-schuette-appears-on-abc-s/article_2ff40c20-d72b-5557-9a15-65915be4c798.html, Lyle postponed the Heat Helper the first time because the standard size of dryers went from 29" to 27". Lyle appreciates the publicity of Shark Tank but is not willing to mortgage his house, for example, to try and turn it into a business.Link Preview
