| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Mark Cuban for $150k for 40% of company. |
Scott Martin (a.k.a. Scotty Claus) had the idea of delivering Christmas trees in a container that could be retrieved and saved after Christmas rather than thrown out. In 2008 Scott built a website and started The Living Christmas Company.
The Living Christmas Company delivered 100 trees in its first year and last year delivered 1300 trees. Sales were $150k last year in the two-month season that the business operates with a $33k profit without Scott getting paid.
There's only one thing higher on my priority list than being in business with a guy with a handlebar mustache. You know what that is? Being in business with a woman with a handlebar mustache.
Scott is well-spoken and plays up the "ESG" value of his company by talking about the environmental benefits, hiring military veterans,
Mark makes a deal and has ideas of showing the stories of the trees and the vets who deliver them on the website. It's a Christmas miracle.

Scott found that the covid panic increased demand for tree delivery. Some years it is busy enough that Scott doesn't even get a chance to decorate his tree.
In October 2022, the website is down, although it may pop back up closer to the holiday season. The Facebook https://www.facebook.com/livingchristmasLink Preview
