Arkeg Shark Tank Pitch

Brant Myers, beer connoisseur, and Dan Grimm, gaming nerd, are lifelong friends who put their passions together to create the Arkeg. The Arkeg is an arcade that stores alcohol or other drinks that can fill a glass through the spigot on the side.

Arkegs sell for $4k and Brant and Dan have sold 20 units over two years at around $80k in total sales. They hope to get their price point lower and sell Arkegs in big box stores.

Mark goes out perhaps the quickest any shark ever has on account of how hard Arkegs will be to sell. The rest of the sharks soon follow.

, they attempted to sell their—in their words—"9 year old, successful" business in 2015 including eight remaining Arkegs. They likely sold what they could of their remaining Arkegs and that was the end of the business with their last Tweet about selling off their machines in 2016.

, he was not lying about his love for beer. From 2013 and on he was a radio show host about local breweries, a freelance beer writer, and even started a local beer tour. From 2018 to 2022, Brant has done business consulting and been a board member for the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.

As of 2022, I couldn't find where Dan Grimm ended up after Arkeg closed its doors.
