Dura-Tent Shark Tank Pitch
Daniel Rothweil made some money as an electrical engineer in a laser company. Daniel was eating out back with his family planning up tech companies when he found a problem right in front of his face was flies all over the food.
Dura-Tent is a patented tent enclosure where food can be placed in. Dura-Tent sells at county fairs but has done most of its sales wholesale. Daniel wants the marketing aspect of the sharks more than he wants money.
Dura-Tent has sold 50k units at $20 and up over three years, which by my math is over $1 million in lifetime revenue. The more Daniel speaks the less his math adds up and the sharks call him out until Danial corrects his blunder to be at 35k units sold to date.
Lori thinks the name should mention flies. The sharks find it unlikely for themselves or others to use Dura-Tent. All sharks go out but Kevin, who makes an undesirable royalty offer.

Dura-Tent After Shark Tank
Daniel Rothweil took Lori's advice and renamed Dura-Tent to PicnicPal. It appears as though at one point Walmart and Home Depot sold PicnicPal on its website, however as of 2022 they are not available on those websites.
