| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner for $450k for 35% of company, $80k salary to Doug for 3 years, 10% royalty until money back. |
Doug Marshall patented a face tattoo that is fashionable for sports fans and trick-or-treaters. The Gameface Company has facemasks of tigers, fun designs, and more that can easily peel off when the user is done.
Doug ran The Gameface Company for the last five years part-time and has Facemasks in some retail stores with licenses to use the logos of several NCAA programs. Sales were $6700 in the first year and last year was $102k with a profit of $32k. Next year's sales expectation is $105k.
Doug hints that his son would love Mavericks tickets from Mark Cuban. He also wants to spend the money on allowing him to quit his job with Xerox selling copiers to work full-time on The Gameface Company and take a salary.
Doug could've sold his entire company for $1 million but gambled on his product being worth more in the future and landed on a lower equity deal with Lori and Mark.
