Carmen Lindner likes s'mores but doesn't enjoy camping, so she created s'mores in the form of muffins, which were a fun hit around her house. When Carmen lost her job, she got a severance package, so with money and time, Carmen was able to turn her idea into a business, Gotta Have S'more.

Gotta Have S'more has done $250k in revenue over two and a half years in the Los Angeles market by selling sets of Smuffins through local bakeries and delivering. Carmen forecasts $165k in revenue this year. Shipping frozen is a new endeavor Carmen is adding to expand her reach. However, shipping costs her $54 just for the shipping.

Gotta Have S'more After Shark Tank
Carmen Lindner did an interview https://www.sharktankblog.com/smuffins-update-interview with Shark Tank Blog after airing. Gotta Have S'more started as a fun idea on the side. Carmen sent Smuffins with her husband to his office and got a positive response, so she began the business, focusing on corporate clients.Link Preview

Carmen was six months pregnant when she waited in line at the Shark Tank open casting and her strategy was to get Smuffins in as many producers' mouths as possible. Carmin was thrilled to be selected and said she couldn't stop smiling during her pitch.
Carmen got her shipping costs down from $54 to $20 soon after airing. According to the about page on Gotta Have S'more's website, gottahavesmore.com https://gottahavesmore.com, Carmen was using a commercial kitchen owned by Annalisa Mastroianni Johnson. In 2014 Carmen decided to sell the business and Annalisa already owned similar businesses and was happy to buy Gotta Have S'more. In 2022 Smuffins are now the Smookies and they do not deliver. As of 2022, I couldn't find any updates on Carmen beyond 2014.Link Preview
