60-years-ago Taylor Dame, Brooks Dame, and Tanner Dame's grandfather started a wood products manufacturing company in Boise, Idaho, which still is a family-run business. Brooks created a brand of wood-made eyewear called Proof Eyewear and brought his brothers on board to help Proof Eyewear expand.
Proof Eyewear has done $433k in revenue in the last year with $150k profit with estimates of $850k to $900 in revenue this year. Proof Eyewear has the potential of getting a $200k order from Pacific Sunwear, and the Dame brothers want money to build inventory. The brothers want to build a business that lasts like their family business that supports 1700 workers.
You're cool. I've had a lot of cool companies...but the problem is almost all the cool brands are broke.
Lori had a conflict of interest and removed herself from the deal, Mark and Daymond thought the success wave of the fad would come and go, and Robert and Kevin made offers. Robert seemed genuinely interested in partnering with the brothers and shared similar values, however, they could not agree on a deal.

Proof Eyewear does many charitable causes firsthand using profits from Proof Eyewear such as providing free cataract surgeries in Uganda. They also do other programs such as building schools and planting trees.
