Cellhelmet Shark Tank Pitch
David Artuso and Mike Kane created Cellhelmet, an average phone case with an insurance package. Users register their case and get a 24/7 hotline number to call if any damage occurs to their phone, and Cellhelmet will attempt to repair their phone promptly.
David and Mike have been selling Cellhelmet for four months and have sold 1300 units direct-to-consumer. Their insurance policy cases cost $45 with a $50 repair fee. Cellhelmet averages $75 cost to repair phones.
The sharks find the cases ugly, the insurance exploitable, and the service less effective than traditional means. All sharks go out.

Bryan got married the day before they aired on Shark Tank so he was unable to pitch and David Artuso and Mike flew directly from the wedding to pitch on Shark Tank. Mike, Dave, and Bran threw a viewing party with around 300 people and they found the edit to be commical.
Mike planned to release cases for iPod and other devices. Cellhelmet received 1300 orders the night they aired. They also worked out a deal to get Cellhelmet in 20 Verizon stores in the Pittsburgh area.
