Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Kevin O'Leary, Daymond John for $70k for 35% of company, but it fell through after the show. |
Neal Desai wasn't able to find a job that suited him after college until he found himself buying an existing app for $17.5k. The CATE app hides incoming texts from specified contacts to avoid getting caught.
CATE app was developed by a cop who didn't have time for it, however, Neal is not an app developer. Neal has put in $45k into CATE app and finished the Apple IOS version a week ago and is working on Android and Blackberry.
CATE app has around 10k users and has made $5k in revenue. Some sharks pose concerns about the morality of the app.
Kevin, Daymond, and Barbara are shockingly interested, and after far too many negotiations Neal strikes a deal with Kevin and Daymond.

The app had features such as turning on the phone's camera without the user knowing. There was also GPS and other tracking features.
Neal hired an app team and focused on marketing but it appears the app was never released to the Apple app store but was available on the Android app store for a short time.
