Tremont Electric Shark Tank Pitch
Aaron Lemieux created a baton-shaped device that converts motion into electricity that can be put in a backpack and used as a mobile outlet to recharge a dying phone called the nPower Peg. Aaron's initial target market is the off-the-grid hikers but ultimately hopes to scale his patented technology into larger applications under the company, Tremont Electric.
Aaron has sold 1300 units total for $199 each ($259k in revenue). Aaron's grand plan is to use the personal devices as a proof-of-concept to transition into large devices placed in the ocean to generate electricity from waves.
The sharks aren't buying into the idea and at $2 million it is a significant buy-in. For $2 million perhaps Aaron should've said the devices will rain gold like the Sullivan Generator from season 3. All sharks go out.

Tremont Electric After Shark Tank
According to hivelocitymedia.com , Aaron Lemieux conceived the idea for the nPower Peg while hiking in 1996. Tremont Electric was named after a town near Cleveland, Ohio named Tremont, where he launched his first storefront. Aaron shows the inside of the nPower Peg functioning on YouTube in 2012.

The last Tweet from @npowerpeg came not long after Shark Tank in 2013. According to Aaron's LinkedIn he writes at the end of describing Tremont Electric, "And then something terrible happened......" It appears he then transitioned to being a paramedic, and as of 2022, he works for the Cleveland Clinic and teaches a Fluid Dynamics course at Cleveland State University.
