Ryan Frankel and Kunal Sarda met at Wharton Business School, where people like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Warren Buffet once attended. With that said there are probably a lot of people that never accomplished anything that went there, so which is Ryan and Kunal? Ryan and Kunal created Verbalize It to connect people in need of translation to translators through their app and website.
Verbalize It has 2000 translators around the world that service five languages. Users get one free call and then pay around $1 a minute for translation. Translators make $7 to $15 an hour. Verbalize It has been live for one month and did $10k in revenue in the last week. Verbalize It is featured on the Skype app store to allow users to add a translator to the call.
Mark and Robert make the same offer, while Kevin offers 5% less equity than them. Each shark has advantages to Ryan and Kunal, and while they would like all three sharks in on the deal, they find Mr. Wonderful provides the best value for the equity they gave up.

After Shark Tank, the VerbalizeIt app gained 25k users in a few weeks. They increased to 10k translators across 11 languages and led a 12-person team. VerbalizeIt partnered with Skype and Rosetta Stone.
