Rock Bands Shark Tank Pitch
Lee Dahlberg's quiet, casual pitch was oxymoronic to his business, Rock Bands. Oh nevermind...Rock Bands is a pun and is a rock on a bracelet. Each rock has healing powers listed for fun and comes in rock-band-themed cases.
Lee brought his friend Robin Leech (who is some actor or something) to provide social proof to the sharks that his big-name Hollywood friends have worn Rock Bands.
Lee sold his house and created a gorilla marketing campaign to sell Rock Bands and is now in 4 large retail stores.
Lee has sold $300k in Rock Bands over five years. Rock Bands sell for around $100 and Lee sells around a dozen a week.
Lee wants to use the money to improve the website and have some power to protect his trademark of Rock Bands in clothing against the well-known video game Rock Band who has sold clothes.
Kevin O'Leary doesn't care about the rock business but rather wants to buy the Rock Bands trademark and license its use to other companies.
