Wired Waffles Shark Tank Pitch

Roger Sullivan found that energy drinks left him with an unsatisfied craving for food, so he created Wired Waffles. Wired Waffles provides the equivalent of three cups of coffee into a small waffle.

Roger did a test run, which led him to tweak the product formula. The final product has sold for one month and done $1k of sales. Roger hopes to put the waffles in every gas station and spread the energy mix into other packaged goods.

The sharks didn't like the taste of Wired Waffles although they did get a bit of a heated argument, which Daymond attributed to the energy boost working. All the sharks went out.

with Shark Tank Blog. Roger Sullivan sold 5% of the company to an investor to fund inventory. Roger attributed the dry Wired Waffles to sitting out in the production studio for a long time before being eaten.

on YouTube, where he explains that he and his wife had been in the coffee industry for many years before creating Wired Waffles. Roger released a Wired Waffles syrup and was getting ready to release a new business selling apple pie moonshine.

Roger created a fake weather forecast when the world was supposed to end in 2012 with Wired Waffles subtly shown on the bottom. That post got spread and led to increased traffic to the website. Ellen DeGeneres also created a Shark Tank spoof of the Wired Waffles pitch, which led to a bump in traffic.

Wired Waffles seams to have faded off and shut down around 2015.

Roger wrote a post in 2017 on their website, letsvagabond.com

, about selling their house and all their belongings to travel the world. After two years of traveling, they settled back in St. Augustine, Florida.

In 2022, Roger operates over a dozen Airbnb properties in his area, through his company, Vagabond Home Stays. He also sells a course on managing short-term properties on theshorttermrentalguys.com
