| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Lori Greiner for $65k for 25% of company, but it fell through after the show. |
Ginelle Mills had overflowing diaper bags when traveling to the park with her kids, so she created a compact assortment of the items she usually brings, such as a hot swing protector, a changing pad, and a seat cover for a shopping cart.
Ginelle spoke about her idea on the Today show and got $14k or orders on her website. However, 85% of the products were wrongly made. Then Ginelle gave 250 Cool Wazoos away for free to audience members of a show called The Doctors that screwed her out of the publicity at the last minute.
Ginelle's bad start left her at a $96k loss to date, which has been funded entirely by her husband. Each Cool Wazoo costs Ginelle $30 to make in America and she sells Cool Wazoos wholesale for $32, making only $2 a unit. She wants to manufacture overseas for less.
After all the sharks go out, Ginelle breaks down with emotion about the effort she has put in over the past four years. Lori gets drawn back in and gives Ginelle exactly what Ginelle came in asking for.
