Beverly Vines-Haines and Charlotte Clary have been friends for 26 years and have a combined 37 grandkids. Their large family has started a business called Ice Chips candy.
Don't be alarmed when I tell you Ice Chips candy is made from Xylitol. Beverly and Charlotte are not Russian communists or time travelers. Ice Chips did $360k revenue last year and have already done $342k halfway through this year with expectations of hitting $1 million by year-end. The grannies expected to get an update on the Shark Tank season 4 finale, but instead, Shark Tank opted for a mashup of updates from other companies.
Every shark but Robert is interested but it seems as though Barbara's criticisms of Kevin have made him the kid nobody wants to play with. Beverly and Charlotte end up with a deal with Barbara and Mark.

Ice Chips After Shark Tank
Charlotte Clary did an interview https://www.sharktankblog.com/ice-chips-update-interview with Shark Tank Blog a few months after airing with an update on her, Charlotte Clary, and Ice Chips. The deal with Barbara and Mark fell through in due diligence possibly due to Beverly and Charlotte splitting their time between Ice Chips and a skincare company they ran called Healing Leaf.Link Preview

Ice Chips had 8600 people on their website during their episode resulting in 1500 orders. Their wholesale channels grew as well. They attributed about $300k of extra revenue that year to Shark Tank.
Bev and Charlotte were working on getting machines to automate production and hoped to launch another product by the end of 2013. Beverly Vines-Haines was working on another book about the grannies' story.

In September 2022, I ordered through their website, and they arrived a few days later. Having something to suck on while writing blog posts all day is nice. I'm no expert on Xylitol, but these Ice Chips are a pleasant, flavored candy that doesn't seem to leave my teeth feeling as sugar-covered as Tic-Tacs and other mints. Additionally, they are not wrong that eating about half a pack or more may cause some slight gas the next day.
