Postcard On The Run Shark Tank Pitch

Josh Brooks used to run marketing for the once-successful social platform, MySpace. Josh created Postcard On The Run, a service that allows users to turn photos on their phones into postcards with personalized messages that can be sent to others.

Josh has put $30k into Postcards On The Run and raised $1.6 million from investors, including singer Selena Gomez, for around 27% in equity. Postcards On The Run has had 500k downloads of their app and done $450k in revenue in almost two years. Postcards On The Run has $185k left in the bank. Josh indicated he wanted to use some of the money for marketing.

Several sharks find the company needs to be acquired by a large company to succeed, perhaps because they don't see it being profitable. Robert puts out an offer and stands his ground on it until Josh ultimately accepts.
