Sweet Ballz Shark Tank Pitch
James McDonald and Cole Egger created Sweet Ballz, similar to cake pops, except without the stick. Sweet Ballz have a 45-day, unrefrigerated shelf life. James had a background in sports marketing and manufacturing. Cole was a serial entrepreneur with some experience in the food industry.
It doesn't matter how many times you fail. You just have to be right one time.
Sweet Ballz did $700k in sales in the last 90 days through Seven-Eleven, generating $90k in profit after paying themselves a livable salary. James and Cole want to use the money for inventory.
Every shark is interested and the offers ultimately boil down to Kevin, Lori, and Robert versus Mark and Barbara, who ultimately secures the deal.

Sweet Ballz After Shark Tank
On the day Sweet Ballz aired on Shark Tank, customers struggled to find the correct website as there were some competitors in the space and the Sweet Ballz website was down. More issues were afoot behind the scenes beyond the website.
According to dallasnews.com https://www.dallasnews.com/news/2013/09/30/from-mark-cuban-and-the-shark-tank-to-the-dallas-courthouse-a-fight-over-sweet-ballz, James McDonald created the product in 2012 and created the company City View Food Group. Later, Cole Egger joined and they sold under the name Sweet Ballz. The paperwork and other players involved in the structure of SweetBallz is complicated but it seams as though Cole Eager tried to buy James McDonald out of the company and eventually redirected the domains to a new site under the name CakeBallz.Link Preview
