| Final Deal | All Sharks went Out |
CJ Isakow believes Americans are being watched by hackers and governments through their laptop cameras. To counteract this CJ created a plastic cover to rest over a user's laptop camera called Eyebloc. Cj started Eyebloc two months ago and says it's got rapid growth.
So far, he has sold 45 units averaging one sale a day, resulting in $600 in sales. He sells unis for $10, not including shipping. CJ produced the initial units with a 3D printer but recently spent $5k on an aluminum mold to improve the product and reduce production costs. Of course, the Sharks bring up free alternatives, and all go out.

In the short period after airing on Shark Tank, Eyebloc did around $80k in sales. CJ did not continue with Eyebloc after the initial Shark Tank rush but instead focused on a different startup he was involved with built around buying cars online called Shift. Shift turned into a successful business and worked out very well for CJ, which can be seen in CJ's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/craigisakowLink Preview
CJ went on to work at Airbnb, but the idea of a webcam cover remained with him. CJ had come across a product called Spy Shutter, which was a magnetized camera blocker. CJ was impressed enough to purchase the patent from his friend in 2018. In 2019 CJ got $250k in sales through Amazon and Walmart's online store. In 2020, CJ was able to license Eyebloc to kensington.com https://www.kensington.com/news/news-press-center/2020-news-press-center/eyebloc-partners-with-kensington-to-bring-professional-grade-webcam-coversLink Preview
