| Final Deal | All Sharks went Out |
Phil Black created FitDeck, a fitness playing card deck to make fitness convenient, easy, and fun. Each card shows a different exercise and how to perform it. There are different themed decks, such as body weight, cross-fit, and basketball.
Over the last seven years, Phil has sold 500k FitDecks. Last year Phil sold 55k decks resulting in $640k in sales with a break-even return. 70% of sales come directly from their website. Phil has spent money on research and development to create content for the card. He filmed over 100 videos last year and redid their website. FitDeck released its app five months ago, selling for $10, with around 1k monthly downloads.
Phil went to Yale, worked in banking at Goldman Sachs, became a Navy Seal, and then went to Harvard business school. Phil is 43 and has three kids. The sharks are beyond impressed with Phil but find his FitDeck business underwhelming, and all shares go out. They invite/challenge Phil to come back to Shark Tank in the future with a better business.

Phil previously applied to multiple Survivors and Apprentices, which are shows produced by Mark Burnett, like Shark Tank, and Phil had gotten to the late rounds on all of those but hadn't made the final cut. Phil figured after building a solid business, he would apply for Shark Tank.
Phil spoke about his Shark Tank experience on his podcast in 2020, which is available on his website, prepwellacademy.com https://prepwellacademy.com/blog/episodes/ep-26-going-back-on-shark-tankLink Preview
Through taking his kids to events, he constantly heard parents talking about the struggle of how to get accepted into prestigious colleges. Phil identified that he had a knack for getting accepted into hard-to-get-in programs and credited preparation to his success. Phil started a new business called PrepWell, which sells courses on preparing and increasing one's chances of getting into competitive schools.
