Bambooee Shark Tank Pitch

Noam Krasniansky and Irene Krasniansky are a couple who created a bamboo-based paper towel alternative called Bambooee. Noam presents Bambooee in an infomercial-style pitch to display its performance. Bambooee can be machine washed and reused 100 times and used in applications such as sweeper pads.

Last year's sales were $122k, with this year's sales on track for $300k. Noam and Irene's wider company, which sells a variety of cleaning products did $1.6 million in sales last year, with a $900k profit.

Noam is passionate and has high energy. Kevin made a loan offer on a whim, followed by Lori giving them exactly what they were asking for. These offers were for the entire company, not just Bambooee. Noam hesitated for a second to see if other sharks would make offers, but soon after, Irene sealed the deal with Lori.

Bambooee After Shark Tank

We got an update on Bambooee in 2016 in season 2, episode 8 of Beyond The Tank. Noam Krasniansky and Irene Krasniansky plant a tree for every roll sold. Since Shark Tank, they have done $3 million in sales and planted 135k trees. Lori gives constructive criticism to Noam that he has talked over the host of his QVC appearances with his passion several times, which may lead to Bamboee not being brought on again.

Noam did an interview with UpFlip in 2021 on YouTube

. Noam said he was always entrepreneurial, and when his wife read about the Brazilian rainforest being depleted, he was encouraged to build paper alternatives. Six months later, Noam identified that bamboo was a fast-growing fiber that would be perfect, and with $5k was able to get his first finished roll of Bambooee.

In 2020, sales were in the millions. Bambooee expanded into utilizing bamboo fibers to make pillows. In 2021 Noam is working on NFT / collectibles pins with characters and an app.

Noam recommends that if people have a product idea, to get moving on it rather than analyze the idea, and all of a sudden, two years have gone by, and nothing has been accomplished. He also recommends against selling on Amazon because if your product does well, they will sell the information to Asain companies to knock you off.
