The Pitch

Ivan Barnes and Lisa Evans found their children crawled all over the place and sometimes sneakily without the parent's awareness. Ivan and Lisa created Squeeky Knees, pants with knee pads that protect the child's knees and have an including squeaker to annoy—I mean, alert—the parent when the kid is on the move.

The sharks bring up that the sound could be irritating. Ivan says he loves the sound because he associates it with seeing his kids after a long work day. Lisa is a stay-at-home mom who associates sound with making money.

Squeeky Knees has been in business for three years and has sold 500 units worth about $10k. Lori said she maxed out their credit cards for their last production run. Lori attempts to push the product on social media and goes to the park with her kids while mentioning Squeeky Knees to other moms. With only one income, Lori finds it difficult to spend on marketing.

Kevin breaks it to Ivan and Lisa that Squeeky Knees may be a horrible idea, but Ivan and Lisa don't buy it. Ivan says this is the jump-off point. Mark brings up that since Ivan has a job and Lisa is taking care of her kids, they have limited time, which Lisa attempts to spin into Mark mistreating moms.

All the sharks go out. I'm not British, but I would describe Lisa's reaction as gobsmacked. Lisa says in her exit interview that she feels like she can do this, and she's not going to let a bunch of men who have a ton of money stop her.
