Cerebral Success Shark Tank Pitch
Trevor Hiltbrand found it difficult to focus in college, so he mixed several products already on the market to find what helped him focus. Trevor lists a bunch of gibberish ingredients he put into a new pill and energy drink he developed called Cerebral Success. Trevor claims Cerebral Success is better for college students than competitors because it targets "mental agility," yet has no scientific studies on his combined formula to back this up.
Trevor says there is demand for the product and that all he needs to do is have a package that says brain boosting on it, and college students will buy without doing due diligence on the ingredients or Trevor's credentials. Trevor bumbles over his words half the time. Cerebral Success has done $60k of lifetime sales all online.
Most of the sharks find Trevor praying on college kids by offering them a magic pill to solve all their problems while having little knowledge as to the concoction he is encouraging kids to consume. Barbara says kids in colleges and her husband take the drug Adderal and try all kinds of pills like this, which she believes helps her husband. Barbara makes a deal with Trevor while the rest of the sharks shame her.
