Cinnaholic Shark Tank Pitch

Shannon Radke and Florian Radke created a custom gourmet cinnamon roll company called Cinnaholic. The cinnamon rolls have no eggs or dairy and are vegan.

Cinnaholic has one location in Berkeley, California, that did $260k in sales last year with a $45k profit. Cinnaholic has a small e-commerce store that is not its primary focus. Shannon and Florian want to use the investment to open a store in San Francisco and then move into franchising.

Kevin said Wicked Good Cupcakes went from doing $15k to $300k weekly in sales when they focused on online sales. Kevin believes Shannon and Florian should concentrate on that. Robert agrees and makes an offer contingent on not opening up another store. Barbara and Daymond were out but anticipated Mark to swoop in and seal the deal because Mark is lactose intolerant. Shannon and Florian accepted Robert's offer.

Cinnaholic After Shark Tank

Shannon Radke did an interview in 2018 at blogspot.com . Shannon said Florian was a touring musician in Germany, and she was a manager at a goth radio station. Shannon baked on the side and sold cinnamon rolls at markets for fun, which gained large demand leading her and Florian to start Cinnaholic. Shannon worked at the first location for three years, barely making ends meet.
Shannon Radke and Florian Radke did an interview with Vegan Business Media on YouTube in 2016. After thinking about the deal with Robert and the stipulations of going the eCommerce route, Florian and Shannon were still set on franchising, so Robert and they happily parted ways. Robert was helpful and said the offer still stands if they change their mind.

Florian researched a few existing franchise-focused businesses, and after talking to a few companies, they eventually found a business to partner with. They turned the flagship Cinnaholic store into a franchise location and shifted focus to running Cinnaholic from a higher level to manage the franchise expansion.

According to a 2022 article by qsrmagazine.com , as of 2022, Cinnaholic had 80 locations across the USA and Canada, with plans to open 30 more locations in 2023. Sales revenue was $20 million in 2021 and $24 million in 2022.
Cinnaholic's website is cinnaholic.com and there is no online store as of 2023. As of 2023, they are active on its Facebook , Instagram, @cinnaholic , and Twitter, @Cinnaholic .
According to Shannon Radke's LinkedIn and Florian Radke's LinkedIn , they are both involved in Cinnaholic in 2023, although Florian appears to have his hands in many companies helping out with marketing. Florian's website is florianradke.net , including things such as a TED talk Florian gave on augmented reality. Florian's Instagram, @floflo36 shows he and Shannon are happy together as of 2023.
