Baker's Edge Shark Tank Pitch
Emily Griffin is a pastry chef, and with her husband, Matt Griffin, found success with their baking pan, allowing every brownie to be an edge piece. They are seeking to expand their product line to build a well-rounded business.
Baker's Edge has done $5.8 million in sales since starting in 2006. At its peak, sales were $1.7 million annually. In 2012, sales were $256k. Their next product is a muffin pan.
The sharks see Baker's Edge as a declining business and are not optimistic about Emily and Matt's hope of selling muffin pans that are not much different than what exists on the market.

Baker's Edge After Shark Tank
According to bakersedge.com https://bakersedge.com/pages/aboutus, Matt Griffin had recently graduated from college when he heard about a middle schooler making millions off a bacon kitchen item featured on Oprah. Matt believed he could do that and soon came up with the all-edge brownie pan in 1998. In 2002 he and Emily Griffin cleaned out their savings and produced the pan in 2005. Emily attended culinary school and gave birth to their first son. They failed to raise money despite trying, but won $25k from an idea competition.Link Preview
