| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Mark Cuban for $100k for 40% of company contingent app works as they say, but it fell through after the show. |
Sylvie Shapiro is a pediatrist who sees foot issues caused by parents guessing their kids' shoe sizes. Nicole Brooks found it nightmarish to take her rambunxious kids to the shoe store to size up their feet for new shoes. Together they hired a technology team to build an iPad app called Foot Fairy to measure foot size in the comfort of their own home.
Foot Fairy is a free app that makes an 8-18% affiliate income by referring its users to the Zappos shoe store website. They have $13k in downloads in its first three weeks, however, they were unable to cash in on their click-through traffic to Zappos due to a glitch, but have fixed the issue. They want to use the investment to build their backend infrastructure, including storing user emails.
The sharks see Sylvie and Nicole as wildly enthusiastic about the product but worry the prominent players could easily knock off the app if it is successful.

Foot Fairy's website in 2014 indicated intentions of building an android version of the app. It appears as though the deal with Mark never closed. The website went down in 2016, though it appears no updates were made since 2014, which was the last time they posted on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/FootFairyApp https://x.com/FootFairyAppLink Preview
