| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Lori Greiner for $30k for 50% of company. |
Three years ago, Emma Hooks, Lily Hooks, and Brian Hooks were tasked to fix a hole in a window screen at their house and found it to be difficult, so they created Screenmend. Screenmend is an easy way to patch a screen.
The Hooks have done all production in their garage and have sold 750 units. The approached Bed Bath and Beyond, but were told the packaging doesn't allow for hanging so they want to use an investment to redo their packaging.
Three sharks go out in succession, and the mood is down in the Shark Tank. Mark recalls a time when he was young, and an investor helped him out, so Mark decides to pay it forward and help the Hooks' family out by offering them exactly what they sought but admits he's not an expert in how to help them. Lori jumps in and makes an offer for twice the equity because she feels she will put more work into Screenmend and cause greater success. Lori allows Mark to join her deal, but he sticks to his own, and the Hooks accept Lori's offer.
