| Final Deal | Deal was made on the show with sharks Daymond John for $300k for 25% of company. |
Solomon Fallas took the standard red solo cup and added a notch to the bottom that can be used for shots, holding condiments at sporting events, and whatever other use cases people can imagine. The brand is called 180cup.
Solomon put $175k into building 180Cup. In 180Cup's first six months, it sold 5 million 180Cups, equating to $385k in sales. 180Cup is in 570 stores, most of which are mom-and-pop stores near college campuses. Solomon implemented a unique approach to getting into valuable stores by rewarding students who informed local stores about 180Cup and made a sale.
Daymond gave a reasonable offer out of the gate with a deadline, and Solomon decided to gamble and hear other offers. After the rest of the sharks went out, Daymond spoke up again. Solomon tried to agree to Daymond's original deal, but Daymond negotiated with Solomon more aggressively and ended up closing a deal for 5% more equity.

We got an update in 2016 on season 2, episode 2 of Beyond The Tank on 180Cup. Since Shark Tank, 180Cup did $4.9 million in sales through 15k retailers. Things weren't as swell as they seemed. Solomon Fallas and Daymond John constantly had differing visions. Solomon wanted to produce the cups, while Daymond sought to license the product to a larger company to take over. Daymond did a licensing deal with a company to create reusable dishwasher-friendly cups, but the licensee went bankrupt, and Solomon was attempting to regain the rights to sell the reusable version again.
Daymond introduced Solomon to rapper Little Jon to attempt to do a deal to have Little Jon be a brand ambassador, but Solomon wasn't interested. Daymond and Solomon agreed to return the money that Daymond had put in so far and part ways. Both were happy about the breakup, and Daymond wished for success for Solomon.
180Cup shut down soon after Daymond stepped away. The last Tweet from @180CUP https://x.com/180CUPLink Preview
As of 2022, it is hard to find Solomon Fallas' name anywhere on google or many blogs regarding 180Cup. Solomon had a kid on the way in 2016 and said in Beyond The Tank My life is taking a 180, so this company needs a kick in the ass for everything to work out.
Hopefully, he is well.
