Magic Moments Shark Tank Pitch
Sanford Nelson, Trevor George, and Blake George created an app where people could upload images to their public marketplace. People can select any photo from the marketplace and order mugs, shirts, and other knick-knacks with the photo, and the photo uploader will earn a commission.
To create a barrier of safety to cover issues with people putting photos on the marketplace that aren't theirs to sell, Magic Moments partnered with another company, CafePress, to vet each photo that is uploaded and approve or deny each based on passing intellectual property, copyright infringement, and other laws.
Sanford, Trevor, and Blake raised $500k from family and friends in exchange for 33%. Magic Moments has no sales yet. The concept of people buying other people's photos to put on products is benign to the sharks on top of the extremely high valuation. All sharks go out.

According to Blake George's LinkedIn , Magic Moments was not well received, but he learned a lot. Blake started a web development agency in 2009, where he handles all kinds of services. He also handles web-related tasks for his parents' company and continues these roles in 2022.

Trevor George does not list Magic Moments on his LinkedIn . In 2022 he is the Founder/CEO of several companies in the e-commerce area as well as cryptocurrency. Trevor did an interview on YouTube in 2021. Trevor's dad had a licensing company that created products for other brands. Being around the business, Trevor saw a path for him to sell products himself and sold $4 million in products in the first year and, a few years later, $50 million annually. Trevor figured out how to optimize advertising on platforms like Amazon and eBay. In 2021, Trevor sold his advertising services to other brands.

Sanford Nelson is the son of Linden Nelson, a multimillionaire in Michigan. Sanford has been investing in real estate for several years according to his LinkedIn and started a real estate company in 2018 called Firm. As of 2020, Sanford was renovating an old food processing building he purchased. He received some undesired bad press from a local deli owner who painted Sanford as a villain driving out small businesses. Sanford contested that that was false, and Sanford is aiming to revitalize the area according to crainsdetroit.com .
